 ok, but many flaws. July 31, 2010

Right from when i received my 400 rw gps,, i noticed the box was open, it didnt have the manual or cd, I contact the seller they were appolizing, but i am pretty sure they purposely sent it open and without those things in it.
But that is part of it, the menu button on my gps doesnt work, also after couple of weeks of using it, i found out that it misleads me, it doesnt differentiate between one way roads, it will always put me on one way road, and the navigation isnt that great.
Still that is one other problem,, NOW, MY GPS SPEAKERS STOPPED WORKING!, FOR NO REASON, I didnt Drop it, Nothing Just Out of the blue stopped the text to speech function.
So now im Frustrated, I gotta keep looking at the screen while driving, I am a New Driver.
Soo in all I wouldnt give it a very good commendattion because my experience wit it havent been a good one either.
I have contacted the seller again but have gotten no response!

I bought this product for my MOM who is not to savy with electronic products.
She loves this thing and it was easy for Her to set up.
And with the big screen,it`s easy for Her to see.
Excellent product for the price.
More bang for your buck.

I bought a gps from this company over a year ago and it worked fine for about a year just until it got out of warranty. And then for no apparent reason I turned it on one day and the screen went to a lock and key with some Asian writing and it would not operate. And I called the company and the technical assistance person told me that this was a known issue and that if my unit was out of warranty there was nothing they would do about it. He told me that it was caused by a defect in a chip. And they outright refuse to do anything about it. So the problem that I had after spending all that money was that right way created a product and designed it with defective equipment. And now their incompetence is my problem. And I'm out the money and they won't do anything about it. Whatever you do do not buy a product from this company. They are the most irresponsible people I have ever seen. They refuse to take responsibility for their negligence. It sounds a little bit like Toyota and other companies that foist defective products on the public and refuse to do anything about it. This company needs to go out of business. If you buy a product from them it's just going to go dead. They refuse to stand behind their products. Plenty of companies have tried this strategy in the past and they are no longer with us. Do not buy any products from this company.

this product is inexpensive and very functional. it not only show the direction of travel, it also speak when it is time to change direction. product is easy to use.

I think this product is worth its money. I found it a little slow, takes a little longer in determining the original position. The map is also old, gets confused on the new roads!
Overall I am happy with it.
